Stakeholder consultations are very important to RNC. The company is committed to hearing what host communities have to say and taking into account their best interests at all stages in the development of the Dumont Nickel Project.

RNC has voluntarily initiated a process that will integrate feedback from the surrounding communities as the project evolves. This process has two main goals:

• ensure effective communication and distribution of information;
• document the concerns, comments and suggestions of the host communities in order to improve the prefeasibility study and the content of the upcoming impact study.

During the next steps in the development of the Dumont Project – the prefeasibility study and the environmental impact study – RNC and the Québec government will establish additional information and consultation processes (public environmental hearings).
