1987 Drilling discovers platinum and palladium zone at the base of the eastern section of the sill (14 holes totaling 3,812 metres)
1997 Staked by MARBAW after being dropped by Dumont Nickel Corp. during a period of low nickel prices
2007 Royal Nickel Corporation acquires 100% interest in the project
Royal Nickel drills 59 holes totaling 22,500m to begin modern definition of resource
