Amos is a vibrant community of over 15,000 located on the shores of the magnificent Harricana River. Amos is viewed as the cultural and educational centre for the Abitibi region of Québec. The community has excellent hospitals, schools, sports and cultural activities. Agriculture, forestry and mining are the pillars of the economic development of the region of Amos.
